      Yes!

Science is important for all of us: technology, transport, medicine you name it, science is involved!. However I really appreciate that science/maths is not for everyone-lots of people are more inclined/enjoy/more comfortable with arts, humanities, languages. Everyone is talented at something.

Hence when I’m at a school giving a presentation I’m always keen that everyone, not just those who may go on to be science professors, have a positive experience of science in school. And more importantly aren’t scared of what it can offer.

I can more than understand after the Chernobyl disaster the fear of anything to with nuclear. Its an issue that needs to be talked about with the increasing problem with sourcing energy on our planet.

Also, science is not just for boys! It is for everyone-girls get involved 🙂
