• Question: As a researcher, how often do you use spectroscopy?

      Hi @lakersb-ball, @dancingstingray. I use spectroscopy almost everyday! In research, teaching and school visits. In my area of research I mainly use UV-Vis absorption and emission spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. I also use IR spectroscopy during my school visits along with UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy

      @lakersb-ball… I use a form of spectroscopy at least once a day when I am showing students how to use the equipment.. Or when I’m teaching the technique at a school event..
