Hi @Arzaylea. Although I do not consider science an art…there are research ideas which are fantastic and also the illustration in some research papers are extremely talented and could be regarded as art!

Science can be creative as art- because having a creative flair will allow you to explore new possibilities…for example the RSC had an art display at Burlington house last year that was about chemistry in art… Some great art work was displayed by students of all ages…

I don’t consider science as an art. However I would add that you do need to be creative sometimes in thinking of new ways to do things and new research ideas. I would also say that some sample preparation techniques need a very steady hand and a good eye to detail.
I also produce some pretty amazing images in work which I think could be classed as art!
