        @827sped32 – Definitely! Research has its ups and downs and sometimes you have to wait for a few days for an experiment to finish!

        Hi @827sped32, @ilovescience123. I would not say bored but research has its ups and downs. It can be very frustrating when you keep trying to make something work and you cannot. However, it is extremely rewarding when you finally achieve your aim!

        My job is so varied it never gives me a dull day! Sometimes I am in the lab with my students and sometimes I am at a school talking about spectroscopy applied to analysing drugs..
