• Question: How do you make and test new materials that will not be rejected by the body when used as implants?

      @janasw- an interesting question from an aspiring biomedical student. I firstly need to find what environment in the body would the implant be exposed to- for example the eye fluids are the aqueous humour. I would find the chemicals that exist and make this artificially in the lab. This is known as in vitro analysis.
