• Question: how do you think the world will end?

      Hi. I think there are several ways in which the world could end but I am sure that scientist will come up with different ways of avoiding it. If by ending the world you mean ending the human race I think that could happen with a major climate change which would make the earth a non-livable planet.

      i would like to think that Harry Potter may have something to do with the world ending but this is not going to be the case…the world may end if we are not prepared for climate change-things that have had an accumulative effect over time.

      Well we know the world will end when the sun swallows us up in the next few billion years when it goes through its red giant phase! (It going to expand and get biiiiiigggg)

      The question is-before then? ie humans be wiped out. Lots of possibilities, in no particular order:

      Nuclear war(Radio 4 keep playing….google radio 4 & Trident)

      Comet collision(Queen Mary in East London is tracking them)

      Climate change-ie rising sea levels, spread of diseases such as malaria, could kill of whole populations

      Antibiotic resistance. Global issue. We could return to pre-penicillin days where the slightest of bacterial infection could be deadly.
      (So yes anyone that demands antibiotics for a VIRUS/WEE COLD, please please please stop it…..)

      Robots.

      Not sure which are most likely-but they could all happen…..
