      My research focuses on type of explosives called nitroaromatics (containing the NO2 group). Such explosives are TNT, DNT, RDX, picric acid…Something interesting is that a clear target in the dection of explosives is DNT which is a byproduct in the synthesis of TNT and not TNT itself
